Bio

Mrs. Kinney attended Georgia Southwestern State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education (2001), Master of Education (2007), and Specialist in Education (2011). Mrs. Kinney has also earned a Reading Specialist Endorsement and a K-5 Mathematics Endorsement. Currently, Mrs. Kinney is pursuing a Master of Library Science through Georgia College and State University.

 

Before teaching, Mrs. Kinney worked at Albany Area Resource Center where she worked with individuals with disabilities in all stages of life. In 2003, Mrs. Kinney entered public school teaching at Sumter County Elementary School. In 2016, she joined the Furlow Falcon Family where she serves as a Special Education Advisor and Head Cross Country Coach.

 

Mrs. Kinney resides in Plains, Georgia with her husband, Buck, and their two sons, Kolden (16) and William (12). In her free time, Mrs. Kinney enjoys reading, running, and traveling. Mrs. Kinney and her family attend Plains Baptist Church where her husband is the Senior Pastor.
